Watch the midsummer sunrise at Stonehenge

Stonehenge was built to line up with the sun at the solstices, and at midsummer the sun rises behind the Heel Stone and its first rays shine into the heart of the monument. English Heritage, which looks after the site, publishes how to attend the summer solstice and the conditions of entry.
