Take a Road Scholar learning trip

Road Scholar is a not-for-profit that has run what it calls learning adventures since 1975, built around expert instructors and special access rather than sightseeing alone. A trip is as much a short course as a holiday, taken with a group who came to learn the same thing.

  2. Use the Find a Trip search on roadscholar.org and filter by destination and activity level.
  3. Request the printed catalogue or ring the number on the site to ask what a typical day involves.
