Play a round of disc golf

Disc golf borrows the shape of golf, with tees, fairways and a par for each hole, but you throw a flying disc at a metal basket instead of hitting a ball at a cup. Courses are laid out through parks and woodland, so a round is also a decent walk.

How to start

  1. Search the Professional Disc Golf Association course directory by country, state or city to find a course near you.
  2. Buy or borrow a single mid-range disc, which is all a first round needs.
  3. Play nine holes with a friend and count your throws on each one.
