Qualify to lead walking groups

Mountain Training's Lowland Leader qualification is for people who want to lead groups of walkers through lowland countryside, woodland and similar terrain. It is earned in stages, with a two-day training course, a period of practice in which you log your own walks, and a two-day assessment.

  2. Record at least 10 quality lowland day walks in the DLOG logbook so that you can book a training course.
  3. Complete the two-day training, then log more walks and gain a first aid certificate before you book the assessment.
