Study for an RHS Level 2 horticulture qualification
A friend has invited you to do this with them.
The Royal Horticultural Society's qualifications turn a gardener's instincts into knowledge of how plants actually grow, and Level 2 is a common place to begin. The RHS says you can study at home or at one of more than 90 centres in the UK and Ireland.

How to start
- Read the RHS Qualifications page and its questions and answers to see what Level 2 involves.
- Use the RHS Find an approved centre page to choose a college, garden or distance-learning provider.
- Enrol with the centre and ask how it registers you for the RHS exams.
Where to go
We opened this link on 7 October 2026 and found it to be what we say. Dates, places and prices are on the official page, where they stay up to date.
Plan this
Pick a day, or a month, and we will set out how to get ready, step by step, with a date and a reason for each. Courses and classes have start dates and can fill up, so the plan begins with finding and booking one. Kit comes after the first session, once you know what you need.
