Make a tandem skydive

On a tandem jump you leave the aircraft harnessed to a qualified instructor, fall freely for the better part of a minute and then drift down under one large parachute. The instructor handles the flight and the parachute, so the ground briefing is short.

How to start

  1. Use British Skydiving's Find Drop Zone page or the United States Parachute Association's Find a Drop Zone tool to choose an affiliated centre.
  2. Ask the drop zone about its weight, fitness and medical rules before you pay.
  3. Keep the whole day free, because jumps wait for suitable weather.
